Sara A. Schimke, Esq.
Sara A. Schimke is an attorney in the Southfield, Michigan office of Chalgian & Tripp Law Offices. She practices in the areas of long-term care planning and advocacy, including estate planning, special needs planning, elder Law, Medicaid planning, Veteran’s benefits, and benefit appeals. Sara also counsels and represents clients in probate litigation and financial exploitation matters.
Sara is the immediate past Chair of the Elder Law and Disability Rights Section of the State Bar of Michigan, and has served on the Section Council for nine years. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Parkinson Foundation and is a professor at Oakland University.
Sara graduated from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and received her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.
